I'm always on the lookout for upcoming color trend forecasts and while surfing the internet today I was reminded of the Pantone color forecasts for fall. This earthy, yet sophisticated jeweltone collection is sure to bring some smiles to all those who love to decorate for Thanksgiving...I see so many fabulous color combinations that I will incorporate into my cardmaking and crafting designs. I think I'll also pull it into my sewing and quilting hobby.
I'm planning on recreating these colors with the yummy FSJ reinkers...I think it'll be fun to brew up some "potions" and mix colors to find the perfect matches for these ON TREND colors. I'm looking forward to sharing my recipes with you too, so watch for that in the near future. The FSJ palette is a bit more saturated than these colors, but you would want that for a card. nobody wants their cards to be muted.
ReplyDeleteI do agree but think that the muted and more naturalistic tones in the Fall Pantone palette will give some depth and earthy contributions to fall cards and projects. I can't wait to get more reinkers so I can mix special recipes to make the Pantone colors come to life!
